Hi It’s Barry in D.R. I want to share a new post from the gang over at The Dollar Vigilante. Founder Jeff Berwick is a man I have a lot of respect for. An out of the box brilliant entrepreneur uncoupled with an eagle’s eye vision in the area of understanding trends and then plotting accordingly. Jeff believes in a widely diversified portfolio in both your assets and your ass. I’ve learned a lot from him and am so grateful he is coming down to the Dominican Republic next month.

After having a few conversations together I quickly found out that the D.R. is one of his favorite locations for both relocation and second passports. Looking forward to spending a few days together at our place in Cabrera and I know it will be a positive learning experience. Both Jeff and I know what it is to be living free and we’re both committed to assisting the small percentage of people yearning for the same.

I’ve often faced the same type of remarks from many people when it comes to mentioning the confiscation of their weapons. Comments from people I know on a personal basis or from people who follow the DR Escapes blog. “Over MY DEAD BODY!!” is one of the most common responses I seem to hear. I politely respond: If You Prefer…. because that’s exactly what will happen. People, have you seen the machinery the Governments are packing?

Better yet remember I have always told you the importance of the word why? So WHY is there even a need for this unless something big is about to erupt. They’re playing with the latest state of the art equipment, not only with heat but also metal detecting capabilities. What’s really the most freighting and dangerous part of this whole scenario is the operator probably makes about twelve bucks an hour but fear not for he has health insurance.

Now stop and think about this for a minute. If you counting on a level headed informed decision before you’re lying in a pool of your own blood, DUH! you might want to guess again. Be sure to open the pictures when viewing, you’re going to be really shocked. At least living in the Dominican Republic I can always outrun a donkey cart fitted with a garden hose.

Anyone still stuck in the first of the five stages of awareness called denial had better get over it and fast. Start looking at smarter choices to protect yourself and your family. Only a foolish general kills his last soldier. It’s far better to look at other options. Dominican Republic along with a host of other countries would be a better choice to relocate during this phase of anger. The best place to view a war is from a good distance.
